What to expect
Now a registered guitar tutor through the RGT@LCM (Registry of Guitar Tutors), Daniel offers private one-to-one private tuition from his purpose built teaching room in Hounslow, West London.
Maybe you tried teaching yourself, via all those youtube videos and big books full of endless chords you are struggling to get to grips with. Or you had group lessons when you were at school but didn't get anywhere? Perhaps you already play a bit, but don't know where to go next, or want to really expand your playing. The bottom line is, without a good tutor, you will lack structure, direction and motivation to play. A great tutor can save you years of frustration by starting you off on the right foot and maintaining steady progress.
So whatever you wish to do, Daniel can work with you and your needs to get to where you want to be.
Daniel can cover:
- Music theory
- Repertoire Development (learning songs)
- Ear training
- and many more areas to your playing
With personalised lesson notes, backing tracks and constant reviewing/encouragement Daniel has everything you need to get started.
Daniel can also help with Graded Exams as part of the RGT@LCM (London College of Music)/Rockschool syllabus if required, and can enter students for examinations.
UCAS points are awarded for Grades 6 upwards, giving an option for University applicants.
Even if you do not wish to take an exam the RGT@LCM/Rockschool handbooks are still a very good way of learning using a structured approach.
Daniel is also fully DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked providing assurance to parents of children under 18 taking lessons, children between 10- 13 are advised to have 30 minute lessons. Please contact for more information.
Guitars can be provided for lessons, for example, if travelling from work. However to ensure quicker progress all students must own their own guitar to practice on.
Lessons last 1 hour, and are charged monthly (4 lessons for £144). Lessons can also be delivered online due to the covid-19 pandemic via Rock Out Loud Live with lesson notes sent via PDF. A PC/laptop with ethernet connection is preferable for the best experience.
Please use the contact page for more info or to book your first lesson (one-off fee of £40).
